Dr. Tony Tomaro is a recognized academician and clinician. As an accomplished author and his unique ability as a lecturer, nationally and internationally, Dr. Tomaro’s lectures emphasize the same concepts he practices: comprehensive dental health exam, diagnosis, and treatment plan; Conservative esthetic dentistry and materials; Smile Design; Evaluation, diagnosis, and restoration of Worn Dentition; Financial Success in Dentistry (learned skills growing up in a family business). He has dedicated his entire career in the advancement of dental education.
Dr. Tomaro received his D.D.S. degree in 1980 from The University of Michigan, Master’s Degree in Biology/Histology at the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science -University of Michigan. Prior to his relocation in Las Vegas, Dr. Tomaro enjoyed 26 years of private practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He returned to private practice in 2008 in Las Vegas, after 3 years as Director of Clinics at Las Vegas Institute. He presently enjoys providing dental care in Chicago, Illinois at University Dental Professionals.
Dr. Tomaro has completed extensive dental and other academic training, and is considered an expert restorative and esthetic dentistry. His extensive and comprehensive knowledge of TMJ and his ability to understand complex occlusion has prompted dentists to not only refer patients but to seek him for their own personal treatment.
He also serves on the editorial board of national dental publications as well as an independent consultant and clinical researcher for many dental manufacturers and dental laboratories, as a member of Catapult.
Dr. Tomaro has held several positions in organized dentistry an in affiliation with the following prestigious organizations: Awarded Lifetime Member ADA – American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association – Past Chairman of SNDS Peer Review Board, Present member of ISDS – Illinois State Dental Society, Present member of CDS – Chicago Dental Society.
